Terms and Conditions
  1. Introduction
    • Welcome to BoxCrick. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.
  2. Definitions
    • Platform refers to the BoxCrick website and any associated mobile applications or services.
    • User refers to both players (who use the platform to book grounds) and ground owners (who list their grounds for booking).
    • Service refers to the functionality of the platform, including searching for and booking grounds, ground registration, and access to real-time availability and other features.
  3. Account Registration
    • To access certain features of BoxCrick, you must register for an account as a player or a ground owner.
    • All information provided during registration must be accurate and up-to-date.
    • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any activity performed under your account.
  4. Ground Registration and Listing
    • Ground owners can register their grounds on the platform, specifying details such as location, amenities, booking charges, and availability.
    • Ground owners are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their grounds.
    • Owners can set booking rates as:
      • Fixed rate: Same for all days and times.
      • Day basis: Different rates for specific days of the week.
      • Fixed rate: Different rates for different times for all days of the week.
    • Owners must ensure their grounds are well-maintained and available as per the listed slots.
  5. Booking and Payment
    • Players can search for available grounds and book slots based on real-time availability.
    • Ground booking charges and other charges are set by the ground owners only. BoxCrick is not involved in ground rates in any manner. Ground owner can set payment options while booking as per his/her considerations. Payment options for bookings include:
      • Online Payment: Complete payment for ground booking via Razorpay payment gateway.
      • Booking with Token Amount: Pay a token amount online and the remainder on-site.
      • Pay on Ground: Payment made directly at the venue.
    • By selecting the "Pay on Ground" payment option for accepting payments for bookings, ground owners acknowledge and understand that this option may expose them to potential financial risks. Specifically, there is a possibility of receiving fake bookings or bookings made by players who do not show up at the ground. In such cases, the ground owner may incur financial losses due to the absence of payment or unfulfilled reservations. It is recommended that ground owners carefully assess bookings and consider other secure payment options to minimize the risk of such occurrences.
    • For collection of booking charges in case of "Booking with Token Amount" or "Pay on Ground", BoxCrick is not responsible. The ground owner will be responsible for collecting payments on-site at grounds/venue.
    • For each online transaction, a minor non-refundable fees will be deducted from the amount paid by the player as payment gateway charges, and the remaining amount will be transferred to the ground owner's bank account via Razorpay payment gateway.
    • The total charges and booking details will be provided in the booking receipt.
    • For ground owners to manage their grounds and accept bookings with online payment, providing accurate bank account details is mandatory. Until valid bank details are submitted, owners will not be able to accept bookings for any ground. BoxCrick is not responsible for any incorrect transactions or non-receipt of funds due to incorrect bank details provided by the owner. In such cases, BoxCrick will not reprocess payments, even after the bank details have been corrected.
    • If a ground owner accepts offline bookings or bookings made outside of BoxCrick, it is the owner's responsibility to update the platform by creating manual bookings to reflect the booked slots for other players. Failure to do so may result in double bookings if a player books the same slot through BoxCrick, with or without payment. In such cases, the owner is solely responsible for resolving the issue, either by offering an alternative slot or providing a refund to the player. BoxCrick does not intervene in these situations.
    • For accepting online payments when booking a ground, BoxCrick integrates with the trusted payment gateway, Razorpay. This allows players to make payments using a variety of options, including UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets ensuring a seamless and secure payment experience.
  6. Offers & Promotions
    • Offers are created by individual grounds and may vary by location. Each offer has its own validity dates, applicable days, and booking rules. Offers may be changed, paused, or withdrawn by the ground or BoxCrick at any time.
    • Only one offer can be applied per booking. Offers may apply automatically or may require entering a valid coupon code. Some offers are limited to online payments only. Offers are applicable only when all stated conditions (hours, amount, day, time, booking type, etc.) are met.
    • Offers may have total usage limits or may be restricted to one-time use per user. BoxCrick reserves the right to block, cancel, or restrict offer usage in cases of abuse, misuse, fake accounts, repeated attempts, or fraudulent activity.
    • The final discount is calculated based on the ground’s pricing at the time of booking. Pricing changes made by the ground may affect the discount value. Free-hour or percentage-based offers adjust automatically based on booking details. Offers cannot be combined or clubbed with other offers.
    • If an offer cannot be applied due to invalid conditions, expired validity, usage limits, or technical issues, the booking will proceed without the discount. BoxCrick may review and adjust offer application in case of system errors. In case of disputes, BoxCrick’s decision will be final.
  7. Tournaments
    • Tournaments on the platform are created and managed entirely by ground owners or designated organizers. They are responsible for the structure, rules, and overall coordination of the event.
    • Players can participate by submitting their teams through the tournament registration process. BoxCrick does not charge any fee for team registration or participation. Each player may submit one team per tournament, subject to acceptance by the organizer or ground owner.
    • Organizers define all key tournament details, including match formats, number of overs, rules, entry fees (if any), prizes, and award categories, which should be clearly communicated to participants.
    • Tournament match results, scorecards, team statistics, and awards can be published by the organizer and will be made visible to players and viewers through the tournament details page. The organizer is responsible for providing and updating all such details once the tournament is completed.
    • While registering a team for a tournament, the player (team creator) is required to provide complete and accurate information about the team. This includes the team name, player names, contact details, and any other information requested during the registration process. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in rejection of the team entry or disqualification from the tournament, as determined by the organizer.
    • BoxCrick is not involved in handling any tournament-related financial transactions, including entry fees, prizes, or awards. All such payments, collections, and distributions are the sole responsibility of the respective organizers or ground owners. Any financial arrangements made between participants and organizers are to be managed directly by them. BoxCrick does not process, verify, or mediate any tournament-related payments and shall not be held liable for disputes, delays, or issues arising from such transactions.
    • Any disputes, issues, or grievances that arise during or after a tournament—whether related to rules, results, player conduct, or awards—must be addressed directly between the participants and the tournament organizer. BoxCrick is a facilitation platform and does not intervene in the internal management or conflict resolution of tournaments. The platform holds no responsibility for investigating, mediating, or resolving such matters, and all decisions made by the organizer are final and binding as per their declared tournament policies.
    • If a registered team withdraws from the tournament or fails to show up for scheduled matches without prior notice, the organizer reserves the right to take appropriate action, including disqualification or banning the team from future events.
    • All participants are expected to maintain respectful and sportsmanlike behavior throughout the tournament. Organizers may disqualify players or teams for misconduct, abusive behavior, or violations of tournament rules.
    • Organizers may share photos, videos, and match highlights from the tournament for promotional or record-keeping purposes. By participating, players agree to allow such content to be used on BoxCrick or organizer’s channels or social media, unless explicitly opted out in writing.
    • BoxCrick serves solely as a platform for facilitating tournament listings and team registrations. The platform does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or execution of any tournament hosted by organizers.
    • In case of technical issues (e.g., website downtime or data sync delays), BoxCrick will make best efforts to restore access, but it is not liable for missed registrations or updates due to such events.
    • Organizers are expected to conduct tournaments fairly and transparently. Any repeated misconduct, failure to publish results, or violation of player trust may lead to removal of tournament privileges or account review by the platform team.
    • Players and organizers are encouraged to report any misuse, technical issues, or unfair practices via the platform’s support or feedback system.
  8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    • Players can cancel bookings based on the ground owner's cancellation and refund policy.
    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policy of the ground owner. BoxCrick does not directly process refunds.
    • BoxCrick is not responsible for cancellations or refunds outside the defined policies.
    • In the event of a ground being deleted from the platform, all upcoming bookings will be automatically cancelled. The ground owner is solely responsible for issuing refunds to players for these cancelled bookings. BoxCrick holds no responsibility for processing refunds in such cases. Additionally, all data related to bookings, payments, analytics, and other associated information will be permanently deleted from both the owner’s and players' accounts. Please note that deleting a ground is an irreversible action.
    • If a ground owner cancels a booking made through BoxCrick after payment has been made by the player, the player must directly contact the ground owner for any refund requests. BoxCrick does not manage or process refunds in such situations and holds no responsibility for the refund process.
  9. Responsibilities and Liability
    • BoxCrick acts as a booking platform and holds no responsibility for ground conditions, disputes, or information accuracy provided by ground owners.
    • Platform availability is not guaranteed, and BoxCrick is not liable for any losses due to downtime or service disruptions.
    • Players are responsible for their belongings, safety, and actions at the ground. Any damage to property or violations of ground rules are solely the player’s responsibility.
    • Unpaid fees, overcrowding, and the absence of ground owners or their staff during booked slots are beyond BoxCrick’s control.
    • Injuries, medical issues, or dissatisfaction with ground facilities fall under players’ and ground owners' accountability.
    • Photos and videos taken during games may be used for promotional purposes.
  10. Code of Conduct and Booking Policies

    • Animals, smoking, drinking, and spitting are strictly prohibited on the premises.
    • Food & beverages are not allowed on playing fields but may be consumed in designated areas.
    • Players must provide accurate registration details; false information may lead to account suspension.
